New faculty

The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University are set to welcome our new faculty members during the 2026–27 academic year.

This year’s incoming class of faculty members to the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering leans heavily into two of engineering’s fastest-moving frontiers: computing and energy. New hires arriving for 2026–27 bring backgrounds in database systems, computer architecture and next-generation computing alongside nanoscale energy transport, electrochemistry and renewable energy. The class also adds fresh expertise in robotics, aerospace systems, advanced materials and semiconductor manufacturing — fields just as central to where the Fulton Schools are headed.

They join from leading universities, research centers and industries around the world, adding to what’s already the nation’s largest engineering program and giving students a wider set of emerging fields to work within.
