Outstanding Graduates

The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering recognizes students who have worked diligently to excel academically and contribute to advancing the Fulton Schools mission.

Each semester, the Fulton Schools selects members of the graduating class who embody academic excellence, leadership and community service during their time as students. These exceptional students have excelled in research, public service, entrepreneurship and outreach.

Students chosen as Outstanding Graduates are honored for their exemplary academic performance and participation in activities that enhance their engineering skills. Impact Award winners are selected for their leadership, volunteer and service roles that have positively impacted the communities. 

These students are deeply committed to making a positive impact on the world around them. Whether it is through volunteer work, community service, or other activities, these graduates are dedicated to improving the lives of those around them in the ASU community, Arizona and globally.

BSE in aerospace engineering – aeronautics

Fatmah Alshehhi was drawn to ASU due to its reputation in engineering and its history of collaborating with her home country on the Emirates Mars Mission.

Inspired by her love of outdoor activities, Riley Berg aims to contribute to water conservation through environmental engineering.

Michael Bochenek has cultivated his skills in business and engineering beyond the classroom.

Aidan Carson's interest in civil engineering stemmed from a family friend's surveying firm. Now, he aims to contribute to developing large-scale aviation projects.

Logan Colberg found a fresh start after transferring to ASU as well as an exciting new career field working for the U.S. government.
