Securing America’s critical minerals supply

ASU researchers are contributing to development of new technologies needed to increase the supplies of critical minerals, including many essential to U.S. national security, as well as to the the country’s energy sources and supplies and its overall economy. Among those researchers are Fulton Schools faculty members Cesar Torres, a professor in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy, Nick Rolston, an assistant professor in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering and Anca Delgado, an associate professor in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment. Their expertise can aid efforts to make the most valuable and productive uses of critical minerals to support a variety of national priorities.
