U.S.-Pakistan Centers for Advanced Studies in Energy (‪‎USPCASE‬) at ASU held a stakeholder meeting to discuss curriculum, governance and policy, applied research and interaction with industry.

Dr. Sayfe Kiaei, director of the U.S.-Pakistan Centers for Advanced Studies in Energy (‪#‎USPCASE‬) at ASU held a stakeholder Feb. 29, in Islamabad, Pakistan. During the day-long meeting, stakeholders discussed curriculum, governance and policy, applied research and interaction with industry for USPCASE. Sponsored by ‪#‎USAID‬ and Pakistan's Higher Education Commission, the project is a partnership between ASU and leading Pakistani engineering schools to address the unique energy problems facing Pakistan.

Sponsored by ‪U.S. Agency for International Development‬ and Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission, the project is a partnership between ASU and leading Pakistani engineering schools to address the unique energy problems facing Pakistan. A cohort of Pakistani exchange students came to ASU in late January to study and learn about ASU’s research methods and pedagogy, who will in turn take the lessons learned here and apply them at the centers being established at their respective universities in Pakistan.
